Funded via the COSME Programme, WORTH is all about creating and supporting transnational partnerships between designers, crafters, SME manufacturers, tech-firms and start-ups across EU-27, UK or COSME countries looking to develop design-driven and innovative products. The project focuses on lifestyle industries, including fashion and textile, footwear, leather and fur, furniture/home decoration/interior design, jewellery and accessories.
WORTH II is the second edition of the successful WORTH Partnership Project, which ran from 2017 to 2021 and awarded 150 innovative projects. During the current second edition, 202 transnational partnerships will be selected and supported in three calls for proposals.
After a successful first call, which featured 65 project winners linked to the 3 pillars of the New European Bauhaus initiative that aims to create solutions that contribute to more beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive living environments, WORTH Project launched the second call for applications on 25 October 2022. The submission period will remain open until 15 February 2023.

If you are a creative designer seeking an opportunity to create innovative design solutions that contribute to more sustainable lifestyle industries, this is the project for you!
Applicants will need to show a keen interest to connect, create and innovate on a transnational basis. The eligible submitted proposals will be evaluated according to award criteria, including the quality of the partnership, the quality and the market potential of the project idea.
If you are selected, you will benefit from an incubator programme consisting of:
- Media kit including international media relation activity, advertising and social media
- €10 000 to €20 000 seed money
- Participation in two international design events
- A tailor-made mentoring programme
- Cross-sector collaboration and participation in networking events
- Professional links
- Visibility of their professional profile on the WORTH Gallery
