As cities around the world become more digitalised and interconnected, the need for trained professionals to plan and build resilience in Smart Cities is urgent.
In response to this need, we are excited to offer a free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the Smart City Resilience Officer (SCRO) starting on March 20th. The SCRO is an innovative position in a smart city that acts as the city’s central person for resilience planning. However, with urban resilience being a multifaceted concept that spreads across many dimensions, SCRO’s need to have an integrated view of all potential hazards and be able to prioritize the most important ones for a city.
The CRISIS SCRO MOOC is open to anyone, regardless of background or experience, and it is entirely free of charge. All you need is an internet connection and a willingness to learn.
