The University of Nicosia, hosted on May 19th 2023 (16.00-18.00), the Europe Regional Committee (ERC) Meeting of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).
The meeting was chaired by the Chair of the ERC, Sir Peter Mathieson, Vice-chancellor of the University of Edinburgh and was attended by
ACU Chief Executive and Secretary General, Dr Joanna Newman,
ACU Regional Engagement Manager, Dr Juliana Bertazzo,
Rector of University of Nicosia, Professor Philippos Pouyioutas, member of ERC
Vice-chancellor of the University of Gibraltar, Professor Catherine Bachleda, member of ERC, and
Rector of the University of Malta, Professor Alfred J Vella, member of ERC.
Other officials from ACU attended the meeting online.
Among others, the ERC members discussed matters pertaining to policy, networks and communities, ACU measures and commonwealth scholarships.
