University of Nicosia and Remedica Sign a Memorandum of Understanding for the Promotion of Scientific Research and Education in Pharmaceutical Science

The Department of Health Sciences of the University of Nicosia and Remedica Pharmaceuticals signed on Friday, 30 May 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding to promote research and educational cooperation in the field of Pharmaceutical Science.

The collaboration will focus on the development of joint research projects, the organisation of conferences, seminars and other scientific events, as well as the enhancement of the practical training and professional education of the Pharmacy students of the University of Nicosia. The parties agreed to proceed with joint actions that will contribute to the strengthening of the pharmaceutical sector in Cyprus, through the joint development of educational and research programmes.

The MoU was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences, Professor Kyriakos Felekkis, the Chairman of the Department of Health Sciences, Professor Christos Petrou and the Head of the Department of Drug Safety/QPPV and member of the Board of Directors of Remedica Ltd, Mr. Also present were Ms. Elina Skoulou, member of the Remedica Executive Leadership Team, the Deputy Dean of the School of Life and Health Sciences, Professor Christos Papanefytou, as well as members of the academic staff of the Pharmacy Programme of the University of Nicosia.

The University of Nicosia and Remedica express their commitment to work closely together to enhance research and educational efforts and to promote pharmaceutical science both in Cyprus and internationally.
