The University of Limassol and the Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 31 January 2025.
The Memorandum was signed by the Rector of the University, Professor Theodoros Panayiotou, and the President of the Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts, Academician Achilles K. Emylianides.
The Academy is Cyprus’ highest intellectual institution in the sciences, letters and arts and is the home of the most distinguished scientists, scholars and artists.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to establish cooperation between the Academy and the University on matters relating to common scientific fields, to co-organise scientific and educational events, to provide expertise and to carry out studies. The Memorandum also ensures joint participation in funded research projects and the exchange of information and know-how.
