The European partnership of the Erasmus+ KA220 Cooperation Partnership project “Tales of the Islands through Digital Storytelling for Environmental Awareness (TIDES)” recently gathered in Limassol, Cyprus, for a highly productive two-day Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), hosted by St’ Primary School of Limassol (KB) – Agiou Nikolaou.
Partners from Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, the Netherlands, and Turkey came together with the shared goal of evaluating project progress, reviewing financial and quality indicators, and shaping the upcoming implementation steps for Work Packages 3 and 4. Core project targets were thoroughly examined—including the production of 25 digital stories, the engagement of 200 students, and the training of 40 teachers—while special emphasis was dedicated to planning the upcoming student and teacher mobility in Mykonos.
Beyond the intensive working sessions, the meeting offered a wonderful opportunity for cultural immersion and networking. The visiting partners enjoyed an inspiring cultural tour discovering the historic charm of Limassol’s Old Town, strolling through the picturesque Old Port and the modern Limassol Marina, and exploring the imposing medieval Limassol Castle. The cultural exploration extended to iconic archaeological and historical landmarks of the region, including the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates and the magnificent archaeological site of Kourion, beautifully connecting local heritage and environmental awareness with our digital storytelling goals.
A heartfelt thank you to all partners for their dedication, active collaboration, and shared vision as we journey “From Limassol to Mykonos” and beyond, letting dreams and stories awaken!
