The Ambassador of Switzerland to the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Christoph Burgener, visited The Cyprus Institute’s premises in Athalassa on Tuesday, 25th of April 2023, to reinforce existing collaboration between the Institute and the Embassy of Switzerland and to explore new areas of common interest with other Swiss research organisations and Universities.
Hosting the meeting was CyI President Prof. Stavros Malas, in the presence of EEWRC Director, Prof. Fadi Comair, and CyI Assistant Vice President of Strategy and Development, Dr Konstantinos Kleovoulou. The Ambassador was given a brief overview of The Cyprus institute’s research and educational activities, and given a guided tour of the Andreas Pittas Art Characterisation Laboratory (APAC Labs), High Performance Computing (HPC) Facility and Linear Fresnel Collector (LFC) Facility.
