The University of Limassol Research Center proudly supported and actively participated in this year’s PM AGORA Event held in Larnaca, Cyprus from October 1st to 3rd, 2025. Following the success of the inaugural edition in Greece in 2024, PM AGORA has firmly established itself as a dynamic, international platform for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration among EU project managers and policy practitioners across Europe.
Co-organised by the InnoEUSphere, T-Hap and Academy of Entrepreneurship, PM AGORA is more than a traditional conference. It is a living, participatory space where professionals come together to reflect on their evolving roles, exchange tools and ideas, and co-create meaningful solutions for today’s policy and project challenges.
The PM AGORA 2025 brought together researchers, practitioners, advocates, and changemakers from across Europe to explore the evolving role of EU project managers in in a fast-changing world. With a focus on participation, purpose, and progress, the event featured a dynamic mix of labs, workshops, and open forums, setting the stage for bold new collaborations and ideas. A notable highlight was the official opening by the Commissioner for Gender Equality in Cyprus, Ms. Josie Christodoulou, underscoring the strategic importance and inclusive vision of the event.
As a key sponsor, the UoL Research Center strongly aligned with PM AGORA’s mission to cultivate reflective, responsive, and future-oriented policy practice in the field of EU project management and policymaking.
Through its active participation the Center enhanced the visibility of its ongoing research and enabled valuable networking and collaboration opportunities with professionals and institutions across Europe. A key highlight of its contribution was the sharing of insights from the InterGenic– Supporting EU’s Twin transitions through intergenerational learning, exchanges of knowledge and joint actions project which highlighted the intergenerational learning as a good practice for inclusive and sustainable development.
Additionally, information and results from two other EU co-funded initiatives were shared:
- the KidLe– Developing an intercultural game as a pedagogic tool for the inclusion of pupils with migrant bacKground in new Learning environments and
- SustaiNet– Empowering Local Governance for Sustainable Economic Growth through a network of Green Business Innovation Hubs projects were discussed and exchanged with the participants.
The UoL Research Center extends its warm thanks to the organisers for their dedication and vision and looks forward to continuing this valuable collaboration.
