A delegation of the University of Nicosia attended a meeting of the European University Alliance NEOLAiA held at Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences, Lithuania on 5-6 March 2025.
The discussion focused on improving the communication strategy between the member universities of the Alliance, with the aim of broadening the dissemination of its activities to both the university and the wider community.
The University of Nicosia was represented by the Director of the Marketing Department, Ms. Nasia Leonidou, who presented the actions taken to promote the NEOLAiA Alliance to the university community, and the Assistant Rector, Ms. Julia Nicolaidou. The meeting was held in the framework of Work Package 10, entitled “Sustainability and Dissemination”, under the guidance of Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences.
The main focus of the meeting was the dissemination of the NEOLAiA university alliance and the results of its activities. More specifically, discussions were developed around content creation and strengthening the communication strategy between the work packages to ensure a strong presence in the partner universities. In addition, the implementation of corporate identity standards (branding) and representation at international conferences were discussed to enhance the Alliance’s visibility and networking at a global level. The University of Nicosia actively participated in these discussions, which included the improvement of the Alliance’s online presence (website and social media) and the dissemination of its initiatives both locally and internationally.
