Nicosia Municipality: Google for Startups, NVO Lab, and GDCy launch the LVLUP Accelerator for Ambitious Companies

The gaming sector is a thriving sector in the IT industry in Cyprus. Recognising its huge potential, Google for Startups, NVO Lab and GDCy have joined forces to present the LVLUP Accelerator programme. This programme is designed to support new Cypriot gaming studios and startups, fostering their growth while attracting gaming businesses to Cyprus.

The LVLUP Accelerator is committed to providing participating companies with valuable assistance, including business development support, access to a network of international gaming experts and consultants, as well as fundraising assistance. In a collaborative effort, The Games Fund, GEM Capital and Green Grey will act as partners, leveraging their extensive gaming expertise to support participants throughout their journey. In addition, the CYENS Centre of Excellence will play a vital role in overseeing the AR/VR/XR part of the training programme.

Throughout the programme, the selected teams will participate in expert sessions and workshops, and work with advisors from prominent gaming companies, publishers and investment programmes. Most of the programme will be conducted online, with live events planned in Cyprus. It is worth noting that the LVLUP Accelerator is completely free of charge for gaming studios and startups.
