On 15-16th September 2022, during the proceedings of the 17th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship which will be hosted by Neapolis University Pafos (hybrid form) in the historic city of Paphos, a distinguished member of the global research and business community will participate and contribute to the ongoing and constructive scientific dialogue. ECIE22 offers an amazing opportunity for an academic and policy debate around innovation and entrepreneurship in the post-pandemic world and the current challenges.

The European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship has been running for 17 years ago. The event has been held in Italy, Northern Ireland, France, Belgium, Portugal, and Finland to mention some of the countries, who have hosted it. The conference is attended by participants from more than 40 countries and attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, practitioners, and individuals, who are engaged in various aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship teaching and research.

The 17th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship will be hosted by Neapolis University Pafos and the Conference Co-Chairs are  Professor Pantelis Sklias, Rector  of Neapolis University Pafos and  Assistant  Professor  Nikolaos  Apostolopoulos  at  the University of Peloponnese and Research Fellow at the Neapolis University Pafos.

Leading and distinguished academics participate as keynote speakers. The opening keynote presentation is given by Professor Paul Jones, Swansea University, UK speaking on “Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Small Business Management: Post pandemic perspectives”. There is an afternoon keynote by Professor Robert Newbery, Northumbria University, UK talking about “Reconstructing the Entrepreneurial Landscape”. The second day of the conference will open with an address from Professor Panagiotis Liargovas, University of   Peloponnese, Greece on the topic of “Green Entrepreneurship  and  Sustainable Development in the Post Pandemic Era: The Case of Greece” and a final keynote will be delivered  by Professor Artur Steiner, Glasgow Caledonian University, UK with the title “Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Social Purpose: Learning from research, policy and practice”.

In parallel, ECIE will host the final round of the The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Teaching Excellence Awards. for the 8th consecutive year.
