This is the latest edition of the Green Deal Funding Alert, a monthly newsletter that keeps you informed about funding opportunities and initiatives that support sustainable development and the transition to climate neutrality. 1. EIB Adaptation Days 2024 – LRAs invited to discuss adaptation funding opportunities and get expert advice on project ideas and investment plans

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has contacted the Committee of the Regions with an invitation to local and regional authorities (LRAs) to join the EIB’s Adaptation Days 2024. On 24 and 25 April, the EIB will gather a diverse audience of up to 100 practitioners to discuss and share experiences in planning, financing and implementing adaptation projects. The event will be hybrid (Luxemburg and online).

Of particular interest for LRAs, on April 24, a dedicated session for cities and local authorities will focus on investment barriers and potential ideas to overcome those barriers. At the end of both days, you can discuss your project ideas and investment plans with an EIB expert in project clinics. For the project clinics, a slot has to be booked in advance by sending an email to eibadaptationdays2024@eib.org with your project information.
