Frederick University: The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on human rights: Collective research project

Frederick University presents the collective, interdisciplinary research work conducted by members of the University’s academic staff, on the subject of the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on human rights. The work is available online.

The publication, edited by Dr Vasiliki Karagkouni, Assistant Professor at the Department of Law, is the result of a coordinated research effort to identify the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on human rights. The publication features an introductory note by Professor Christos Clerides, President of the University’s Department of Law.

The project received internal funding from Frederick University due to the timeliness and importance of the results it would reveal. It was implemented by members of the Law Department Faculty, and members of the academic staff from the Departments of Nursing, Psychology and Social Sciences, and Maritime Transport and Commerce.
