Recently, students at the Department of Architecture presented their proposals for the development of a plot where the former Debenhams (or Woolworth’s) is situated, on Arch. Makariou III Avenue, Nicosia city center.

The students were asked to propose multiple uses for the plot, connecting it to the city and creating new links with the surrounding public space.

The presentation was attended by executives of APS Real Estate Cyprus, the company that owns the plot. The experts shared their knowledge in the field, making constructive and helpful comments on each proposal as investors with extensive experience in real estate development and management.

Frederick University’s innovative teaching methods consist of creating industry-ready graduates and giving our students the necessary tools and skills for the real market by bringing them into contact with industry and providing them with excellent learning experiences.

The University thanks APS Real Estates Cyprus for engaging in this project and congratulates its students for their work.
