IDRC 2025 – 8th International Disaster and Risk Conference

Taking place from 23 to 24 October 2025 in Nicosia, Cyprus, at the University of Cyprus. Organised in collaboration with the Global Risk Forum (GRF) Davos, IDRC2025 will bring together leading voices in disaster risk reduction and resilience from around the world.
This year’s theme, “Reframing Disaster and Risk: Mobilising Action,” focuses on translating knowledge into impact. Over three days, the conference will welcome researchers, policymakers, government officials, humanitarian actors, and private sector innovators to exchange ideas, present applied solutions, and build new partnerships that address today’s complex and interconnected risk landscape.
