Funded Seminar by the Human Resources Development Authority: Strategy implementation through KPIs

UCLan Cyprus University invites you to the seminar entitled “Implementing Strategy through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)”, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 08:30-17:00. The instructor of the seminar is Mr. Panikos Sardos, Associate Lecturer in Leadership, Management and Operations Strategy at UCLan Cyprus University.
The seminar is addressed to Executive Directors, Managers and Senior Executives.
The aim of the seminar is to explain:
- What is strategy, its various forms, and the tools for creating strategy.
- What are strategy-related concepts such as BSC-ICC (Balanced Score Card), strategic.
- “themes”, CSFs and KPIs.
- How to implement the strategy through the Critical Indicators.
- How critical projects are selected to achieve the strategy.
- How to develop the components of a sound measurement system.
- How to use Critical Indicators to achieve objectives and effective management.
Objectives for participants:
- To learn about the importance of strategy, its various forms, and the tools for developing it.
- To become familiar with the concepts of: IKA (BSC), strategic “themes”, CSFs and KPIs.
- To learn how to implement the strategy.
- By using the ICA – Balanced Scorecard.
- Alternatively by using the CSFs.
- Translating the strategy into targets and KPIs.
- To become familiar with the critical characteristics of KPIs.
- To learn to select critical projects and prepare an action plan to achieve KPIs
- To know the requirements of a sound measurement system.
- To recognise the usefulness of KPIs as a tool for strategy implementation and,
- effective management.
Instructor CV
Mr. Panikos Sardos holds an MBA (distinction) from CIIM and an MSc (distinction) from Imperial College London University. He writes on management topics on the professional network LinkedIn. He is a certified Vocational Training Trainer of the Human Resources Development Authority (HRD) Since January 2012 he has been the Executive Director of P&E Sardos Business Solutions International. He is a lecturer at UCLan Cyprus University since 2018 and teaches or has taught MBA: Operations Management and Strategy, Leadership and Management, International Strategic Change to postgraduate students. From 2004 until January 2012, he was the Director of the Nicosia-Kernia-Morfu District of AHK and previously served in several senior management positions. In the position of Regional Director he was responsible for more than 500 staff consisting of managers, scientific, technical and clerical staff. He actively contributed to the Region’s excellence in customer-oriented and innovative projects.

Initial Cost: €250 per participant
Grant from ADA: €140 per participant
Participation Cost: €110 per participant
The participation costs are for participants who are approved by the ADA.
The cost of participation includes lunch and a coffee break.
