The second round of the Microsoft for Start-ups Programme of Cyprus officially started on 15 November 2022. After the successful first round of the “Microsoft for Start-ups” programme, where 10 Cypriot start-ups through training and mentoring managed to further develop their idea, the second cycle begins.

The programme aims to support start-ups from all over Cyprus through a specialised training package, so that they are able to enter the global market and achieve their goals. The programme will help these start-ups to accelerate their growth through a customised package that will combine training, guidance and mentoring , elements that are essential for any new business in its first steps, familiarising them with basic business concepts and modern tools in the field of entrepreneurship.

The founding executives of the startups will have the opportunity to work closely with high-ranking and experienced executives of Innovation Partners , who participate in the programme are : BSM Cyprus , CNP Cyprus , CYTA , ExxonMobil , EY , Gnomi , GrantXpert Consulting , Hellenic Bank , IMH , Logicom , Microsoft , NetU and NewCyTech . A strong supporter of the whole programme is the KEBE, while the GVI Cyprus organisation will participate as a business development partner.

All startups will be assigned mentors and have the opportunity to work closely together to further develop their business idea and successfully bring their new product and/or service to market once the programme is complete.

The programme is based on a training and mentoring package, which will take place from 1 February to 30 April 2023, followed by a graduation ceremony that will take place in May 2023. All activities will take place at the European University of Cyprus.
