The annual Newsletter of the European research project, with the acronym PRIMESOFT and coordinated by the CUT has been published.
The project, which involves 4 other partners (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, The Spanish National Research Council, The University of Potsdam, the National Technical University of Athens), concerns the application of infusion factors to high value-added fresh fruits such as strawberries and raspberries.
At the level of applied research, the optimisation of production protocols with smart agricultural practices and the investigation of the commercial application of new pickling agents as part of these protocols are being pursued.
At the basic research level, the PRIMESOFT project is investigating the mode of action of infusion factors through the use of modelling, life-cycle cost analysis, and the application of post-agricultural and post-bolomic approaches.
