The Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) is among the awardees at the Bravo Sustainability Dialogue & Awards 2023 for its initiative, the “MENA Maritime Accelerator,” in the “Collaborations” category, among 250 entries submitted this year.
Also awarded were the Public Property Utilization Fund, a member company of the Fund, the Athens Research Centre (ATHENA RC), as well as Chrysalis LEAP, the Cyprus Energy Agency, and Cleantech Bulgaria.
The “MENA Maritime Accelerator” represents a collaborative project involving various public sector bodies, private organizations, non-profit entities, and academic institutions. Its goal is to accelerate the green transformation of the maritime and port industry by supporting and developing startups that provide innovative and sustainable commercial solutions. This initiative aims to support their transition towards Climate Neutrality and Resilience.
