In the context of the promotion programme of the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology and Food Science at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) it took place on Wednesday 15/02/2023 at 9:00 am. visit of three professors from Portugal to CUT in collaboration with the Public School of Higher Vocational Education and Training (MIEEK).
The professors were guided around the premises of the University and the laboratories of the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology and Food Science of the University, where they were informed about the study programme as well as about the laboratory infrastructure of the Department by Associate Professor Menelaos Stavrinidis.
During the visit, a demonstration of two experimental procedures for measuring total phenolic components and ascorbic acid was carried out under the supervision of CUT Research Associate and MIEEK Instructor Dr. Egli Georgiadou.
The experimental process was carried out within the framework of the Primesoft research programme (HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03) coordinated by Associate Professor George Manganaris.
