Culture Moves Europe: new opportunities for residency projects

With the support of the Creative Europe programme, the call for residency hosts of the Culture Moves Europe mobility scheme provides financial support to organisations and individual artists that want to host artists and cultural professionals for a residency project.

Who can apply?

The call is open to legal entities who are registered and based in one of the Creative Europe countries, including the overseas countries and territories (OCT), and outermost regions (OR). They must be active in one of the eligible sectors:

  • architecture
  • cultural heritage
  • design and fashion design
  • literature
  • music
  • performing arts
  • visual arts

What is needed to apply?

The applicants will apply with a concept for a residency project to host between 1 and 5 residents. It should follow 2 of these objectives:

  • to learn
  • to create
  • to explore
  • to connect
  • to transform

The applicants must have the capacity to host the proposed residency project with artists and cultural professionals from other Creative Europe countries and ensure adequate accommodation and workspaces and at least one mentor to provide artistic guidance to the residents.

What do we offer?

The residency grant offers financial support to the host and each resident.

For the host: the grant is composed of hosting allowance and accessibility support, if hosting residents with disability.

For the residents: daily allowances, travel allowances and top-ups depending on their individual situation (family, OCT/OR, visa and green travel top-ups).

For residents with disability, we also offer accessibility support.

When to apply?

This call is open from 15 December 2025 to 16 March 2026.

All applications will be reviewed after the deadline.
