Creative Europe MEDIA umbrella stands in 2024

The MEDIA strand of Creative Europe runs MEDIA Umbrella stands at the major international trade fairs for film and audiovisual content in Europe, as an essential part of its support to the promotion of European works.

The stand facilitates the access of European professionals to these markets as participation to such events may represent a too high investment, especially for small players and new companies. The targeted European professionals are mostly small to medium size independent companies, ensuring territorial diversity.

Advantages include the possibility for the participants to hold their meetings in the stand premises, business-to-business exchanges, and the knowledge-sharing that comes with the immersion amongst fellow professionals.

In 2024, MEDIA umbrella stands will be organised in not less than seven film, TV and video-games markets across Europe:

  • EFM (European Film Market) in Berlin.
  • Series Mania Festival in Lille.
  • MIPTV (Marché International des Programmes de Télévision), in Cannes.
  • Cannes Film Market (Marché du film de Cannes), in Cannes.
  • MIFA (Marché International du Film d ‘Animation), in Annecy.
  • MIPCOM (Marché International des Programmes de Communication), in Cannes.
  • Gamescom in Cologne.
