Call for tender to organise training in non-EU countries under the Better Training for Safer Food initiative

HaDEA has published the call for tenders HADEA/2023/OP/0031 – “Training activities in non-EU countries to improve and strengthen the Sanitary and Phytosanitary framework to allow better production, processing and trade of safe food, healthy animals and plants under the BTSF initiative”.

The purpose of the call is to organise and implement training activities in selected non-EU countries to improve and strengthen the Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) framework and related areas to support better production, processing, and trade of safe food, healthy animals and plants.

Total budget: €4 300 000

All interested parties are invited to send their applications by 3 November 2023, 12:00 PM (CET).

Background

The EU Single Market Programme brings together the Union actions in the fields of competitiveness of enterprises, especially SMEs, consumer protection, customers and end-users in financial services, policymaking in financial services and in the plant, animal, food and feed areas.

The BTSF Initiative is a training initiative of the European Commission, which has the objective to improve the knowledge and implementation of EU rules covering food safety and plant and animal health.
