Call for participation: launch of survey on international cooperation on semiconductors

The European Commission announces the launch of a survey to gather valuable insights on international collaboration within the semiconductor industry.

The survey is facilitated by ICOS, a three-year Coordination and Support Action (CSA) from the European Commission, part of Horizon Europe. It is an ambitious project in the framework of the European strategy on semiconductors.

The Commission invites all interested parties to contribute to this survey, tailored to gather perspectives from stakeholders across Europe. The survey aims to gather input from various stakeholders including industry, research, associations, academia, and representatives from Member States.

Participation will aid in assessing interests, identifying needs, and addressing concerns across strategic partner countries and regions. Sharing insights will help in evaluating interests, pinpointing needs, and addressing concerns across seven strategic partner countries and regions as acknowledged by the European Union:

  • The United States of America
  • India
  • The Republic of Korea
  • Japan
  • Taiwan
  • Singapore
  • Canada

Participate in the survey

All responses will be analysed by the ICOS project and will directly inform the European Commission. Insights will guide efforts towards enhanced collaboration and the development of new initiatives within strategic partner countries and regions.

Please note that the deadline for completing the survey is 29 March 2024. Timely participation is crucial in ensuring the comprehensiveness and impact of the feedback gathered.
