The science fair will take place on 13 and 14 March 2025 at the Africa Museum in Tervuren, Belgium. Whether you are young or young at heart, this is your chance to celebrate science in the most exciting way possible.
Meet over 100 leading researchers from around the globe and explore their groundbreaking work through interactive experiments, hands-on activities, science shows, games and quizzes.
Science is Wonderful! is free of charge and open to everyone – school classes, families, science enthusiasts, robots, aliens, and beyond!
If you’re planning to attend with a school class or a group of 15 or more, be sure to register starting 29 January 2025 to secure your participation.
If you are coming as an individual or a family, there is no need to register – just show up and dive into the excitement of the science fair! Whether you are bringing a curious child or just your youthful enthusiasm, we can’t wait to welcome you to these two days of science extravaganza.

- Everyone is welcome! Especially pupils between the ages of 7 and 18 will find a wealth of scientific experiences to choose from.
- Registration for school classes or large groups opens on 29 January 2025 at midday.
- The event is organised in French, Dutch and English.
- Free bus transfers to the venue can be arranged for school classes upon request (limited availability, priority given to young children or far away schools).
- Lunch at the venue can be arranged upon request for school classes visiting during lunch times (limited availability). An indoors picnic area will be accessible for everyone.
