When to apply

The Culture Moves Europe calls operate on a rolling basis. This means that there are monthly deadlines, with evaluation periods at the end of every month during the application period.

This call is open from 1 August 2024 until 30 November 2024, 23.59 CET (Central European Time).

Selected applicants will have until 30 April 2025 to complete their mobility projects and submit their activity reports by 31 May 2025.

Inclusive and sustainable

Accessibility and inclusivity are at the heart of Culture Moves Europe.

There is a series of additional financial top ups to support the inclusion of artists and cultural professionals from various backgrounds. There are top ups for participants having children below the age of 10, those requiring a visa, those travelling to and from overseas countries and territories as well as the outermost regions of the EU.

Applicants with disability

Culture Moves Europe offers two possibilities for artists and cultural professionals living with disability:

Applicants may choose to travel to the destination country, and they will be eligible for the accessibility support. Accessibility support is meant to compensate extra costs connected to travel to and from the destination and/or the project implementation. The amount depends on specific needs of each grantee.

For applicants, who prefer not to travel, there is a new option to apply for virtual or hybrid mobility. This includes daily allowance of €35, which contributes to daily expenses during the project. In addition, an accessibility support can be requested to contribute to cover costs related to special assistance or IT equipment.

Culture Moves Europe is equally committed to operate in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way. The mobility action does not support air travel below 600km and encourages grantees to use more sustainable means of transport through extra financial top-up of €350.
