The Just Transition Platform (JTP) is the key tool to help EU Member States and regions unlock support available through the Just Transition Mechanism. It ensures that all stakeholders have the guidance, information and knowledge they need to support Europe’s just transition to a sustainable, climate-neutral economy. On 20 January 2026, the JTP launched a call for applications for a new edition of JTP Groundwork – open until 20 February 2026, 23:00 CET.
These support services aim to build capacity, share best practices, and develop solutions for Just Transition Fund (JTF) territories in the implementation of the just transition.
JTP Groundwork exclusively targets EU regions with approved TJTPs, specifically municipalities, regional authorities, civil society, and socio-economic partners, as well as Managing Authorities actively contributing to the just transition process at regional, local or community levels.
