DESCRIPTION:About the event\n\nUnder the Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe\, Cluster 2 “Culture\, Creativity and Inclusive Society” aims to meet EU goals and priorities on enhancing democratic governance and citizens participation\, on the safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage\, and to respond to and shape multifaceted social\, economic\, technological and cultural transformations. \nCluster 2 mobilises multidisciplinary expertise of European social sciences and humanities (SSH) for understanding fundamental contemporary transformations of society\, economy\, politics and culture. It aims to provide evidence-based policy options for a socially just and inclusive European green and digital transition and post-COVID 19 recovery. Future projects should deliver on the three intervention areas matching the Horizon Europe Strategic Plan (2021-2024): \n\nDemocracy and governance\nCultural heritage\nSocial and economic transformations\n\nAll topics under this Cluster are expected to mainstream Social Sciences and Humanities and to include a gender dimension. \nAsk questions\nPlease submit all your questions related to the Cluster 2 Info Day under the corresponding destination via SLIDO by using #CL2INFODAY. \nYou can already submit your questions before the day of the event\, but all the questions submitted will be answered LIVE during the event. \nBrokerage event\nDo you intend to prepare a proposal addressing a topic under the upcoming calls in Horizon Europe Cluster 2? \nThe online brokerage event organised on January 18\, 2023 will be dedicated to consortium building in Cluster 2: „Culture\, Creativity and Inclusive Society“. \nThe event will include online bilateral meetings with partners interested in the same topics for the 2023 calls. SUMMARY:National Info Day "Horizon Europe Work Programme 2023-2024"
DESCRIPTION:The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) would like to inform interested parties that it is organising a National Info Day about the Horizon Europe Work Programmes 2023-2024 on 18th of January 2023 between 08:45 – 17:00. The event will take place at Ktima Kousioumi in Nicosia and will be held in English. \nThe goal of the event is to inform potential applicants about the recently published Work Programmes 2023-2024 and the funding opportunities offered by Horizon Europe\, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2021-2027)\, including EU Missions and European Partnerships. Moreover\, the event will provide networking opportunities for the attendees to meet the National Contact Points (NCPs) of Cyprus as well as potential local project partners. The Agenda of the event can be found here. \nA Networking Event will take place at the evening and will provide the opportunity to the attendees to make contacts for potential joint participation in proposals and also arrange 1-on-1 meetings with the Cypriot National Contact Points (NCPs) for Horizon Europe. During the networking session\, depending on the expressed interest\, a pitching session may take place in which the interested parties will present in 2 minutes their project idea or expertise. \nThe event is open to all potential applicants to Horizon Europe\, regardless of their past experience\, type of organisation (i.e. academic and research organisations\, businesses and other organisations) and fields of expertise. \nThose interested to participate in the event must register by 15 January 2023 here. DESCRIPTION:Join this online Info Day and discover the wide range of support services that the European Medicines Agency (EMA) provides to researchers and SMEs in the pharmaceutical and med-tech sectors. \nThe European Innovation Council (EIC)  and the European Medicine Agency (EMA) invite you to attend the EIC-EMA Info Day on January 31\, 2023 to hear about the wide range of support services provided by EMA to researchers and SMEs active in research and innovation in the pharmaceutical and med-tech sectors. \nDuring the online Info Day\, you will learn on how to engage with EMA at different development milestones\, and on the range of EMA support services including those targeting gene and cell therapies\, and orphan medicines. You will also hear about the benefits to apply to the Innovation Task Force (ITF) services\, PRIME and Scientific Advice as well as practical details on how to prepare and submit applications.
