DESCRIPTION:25–27 November 2025 \nStoryPharm announces its next training course\, Intersectionality\, Sexuality\, and Gender\, to be held at the University of Cyprus\, Centre for Medieval Arts & Rituals (CeMAR). The event will take place at the Learning Resource Centre – UCY Library “Stelios Ioannou\,” Room LRC012. \nThis three-day training introduces StoryPharm Doctoral Fellows to key concepts and methodologies in gender\, sexuality\, and intersectionality studies. Organised in collaboration with the Interdepartmental Graduate Programme in Gender Studies and the UNESCO Chair in Gender Equality\, the course explores how these critical perspectives can be applied to the study of ancient and medieval sources and cultures. \nThrough lectures\, reading sessions\, and discussions led by experts from the University of Cyprus and partner institutions\, participants will examine feminist and queer theory\, care-focused feminism\, metaphors of illness in early modernity\, and the gendered construction of academic excellence.
