SUMMARY:Technological Accessibility and Inclusion by CYENS Centre of Excellence
DESCRIPTION:The CYENS Centre of Excellence\, organises an event dedicated to Technology Inclusion and Accessibility\, aimed at organisations supporting people with disabilities. \nThe aim of the event is to provide the opportunity for members and administrative staff of organisations to learn about and evaluate the technologies developed by the CYENS Centre of Excellence\, so that their use can enhance the accessibility and quality of life of people with disabilities. \nAt the event\, guests will watch technology researchers describe and present each technology project\, and will have the opportunity to directly test the technology and provide valuable feedback and ideas for future improvements. SUMMARY:QUEST Open Day
DESCRIPTION:The QUEST Open Day aims to Discuss Quantum Technologies in Cyprus for Research and Industry. We invite researchers\, collaborators\, industries and the general public to visit the Cyprus Institute and learn how we are carrying out our mission of making the Computation-based Science and Technology Research Center “quantum-ready”. \nDifferent fields and industries that require physics simulation\, chemical engineering – and even cultural industries – can leverage the emerging quantum technologies in order to optimize or to create new applications. \nTo that end\, the QUEST Open Day will provide three introductory lectures on different aspects of quantum computation\, also in some cases comparing with “classical” algorithms\, as well as shedding light into potential applications.
