DESCRIPTION:25 – 26 April 2024\n09:00 – 16:00 CEST\n\n\n\n\nThe Egg\, Rue Bara/Barastraat\, 175\, 1070 Brussels\, Belgium\n\n\n\n\nEuropean Commission | Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions\n\n\n\n\nEN\, FR\, NL\n\n\n\nRegistration link (only for school and groups)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe “Science is Wonderful!” fair is an annual event organized by the European Commission that brings the world of cutting-edge research to young scientists in primary and secondary schools all over Europe. \nThe upcoming edition will take place in Brussels on 25 & 26 April 2024 at the Egg and will feature over 100 researchers from across Europe. \nThis event will include interactive presentations\, hands-on experiments\, games\, and quizzes. Two ERC grantees\, David Fernandez Rivas and Jadranka Šepić accompanied by their team members\, will take part by giving Science shows – Check the programme! – and will reply to all of your questions at their booths. \nParticipation is open to everyone – families\, school classes\, fans of science – and free of charge. Only school classes or large groups (15 people or more) should register. Would you like to contribute to bring concrete solutions to some of the greatest challenges facing our society? \nJoin us online and learn more about the new calls in the Missions’ part of the main Work Programme 2024 under Horizon Europe for each mission: \n\nAdaptation to Climate Change Mission\nCancer Mission\n100 Climate-Neutral and Smart cities by 2030 Mission\nRestore our Ocean and Waters by 2030 Mission\nA Soil Deal for Europe Mission\n\nThe EU Missions part of the main work programme 2024 under Horizon Europe contains new mission specific calls and topics to support the full implementation of Missions according to their implementation plans. \nCross-cutting Activities \nThis part of the main Work Programme 2024 will be presented in two dedicated sessions: \n\nCross-cluster activities: Destination New European Bauhaus\nCross-cutting activities\n\nBrokerage event \nAre you planning to prepare a proposal addressing a topic under the upcoming EU Missions and cross-cutting activities calls? \nThe online international brokerage event organised taking place on 21-22 May 2024 will be dedicated to gather all the relevant stakeholders who want to apply for funding in the calls included in the updated EU Missions and cross-cutting activities work programme. This event will help potential applicants to build their consortium for the 2024 calls. \nThe event will include online bilateral meetings with partners interested in the same topics.
