What is the Horizon Results Platform?
In August 2019, the European Commission launched a pilot for a new Horizon Results Platform, which is intended to support beneficiaries in showcasing the results of their projects in an appealing way, thus increasing the opportunities for networking and attracting potential users. The Platform, which was officially launched during the European R&I Days in Brussels, aims to provide beneficiaries with a free online space where they can advertise the results of their projects to the audiences they want to attract.
It currently features more than 600 results grouped into several categories, including policy-related results and IPR transfer offers.
How can I use the Platform to promote the results of my project?
During the pilot phase in 2019 and 2020, the Commission will allow suitable Horizon 2020 projects to use the Platform to promote their results and ensure their exploitation by third parties after the project end date.
Results can be created by the Participant/Coordinator Contact person for eligible projects (highlighted in bold) that are listed in the 'My projects' section on the Funding & Tenders Portal (login required). To create a new result for a project, one must click on the 'Action' button and select 'Project results' from the drop-down menu.
When filling in the online result form, it is important to do it in sequence as it appears online, since the form has dependencies built in (depending on the choice of the 'Result Type' and 'Target Audience' one will see different 'Needs' and other data to fill in). It is possible to create multiple results for the same project.
The Commission provides useful guidance for creating, editing and managing project results:

What is the future of the Horizon Results Platform?
In addition to the existing dissemination and exploitation (D&E) obligations for beneficiaries under Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe will place more emphasis on the exploitation of R&I results and to the knowledge and impact these results generate after the end of the R&I projects. The Horizon Results Platform will be one of the flagship initiatives of the Commission under Horizon Europe, supporting beneficiaries in their efforts to disseminate project results and ensure their exploitation by third parties after the end of a project.
